Typical installed prices for the four systems homeowners ask about most. Each bar shows the published low–high band; the green mark is the most commonly quoted figure. Heat pumps are quoted net of the Boiler Upgrade Scheme or Home Energy Scotland grant, because that is the figure you write the cheque for.

Independent UK price bands triangulated from public industry data; quoted after applicable grants, replaced by first-party Your Home Climate quotes as they land.

Source from public industry bodies
Installed-price reports from MCS scheme data, Energy Saving Trust guidance, the Heat Pump Federation and trade-pricing indices. Manufacturer RRPs and installer marketing material are excluded.

Triangulate, never invent
Where two or more sources cover the same band, the overlap is published. Outliers are excluded and the reason is recorded; the working file is available on request.

Quote after applicable grants
Heat pump bands are quoted net of the Boiler Upgrade Scheme in England and Wales or Home Energy Scotland grant in Scotland; that is the figure a household actually writes the cheque for.

Replace with first-party data as it arrives
Aggregated bands carry the source short-codes of every dataset behind them. Once Your Home Climate has a credible first-party sample for a row, it is tagged accordingly and the older aggregation is retired.
What a published band excludes
- · Repairs to plaster, decoration, scaffolding for unrelated works.
- · Electrical consumer-unit upgrades unless explicitly noted in a row.
- · Listed-building or conservation-area consent costs.
- · Removal of asbestos, old fuel tanks or other site-specific remediation.
