For installers

We don't replace installers. We help homeowners arrive better informed.

Your Home Climate is the independent decision layer that sits before installation. Homeowners work through Understanding pages, Decision Engines and a Home Brief that carries their recommendation, the reasoning behind it and the sources that produced it.

When one of them comes to you for a quote, they arrive with the decision already de-risked; not a cold form-fill from a lead broker, and not a sales pitch dressed as guidance. That is a different relationship from the one you have with a marketplace, and it is the relationship this platform is built for.

What we don't do

We are not a marketplace. We are not a lead broker.

  • We do not sell homeowner leads. No cold form, no auction, no per-lead fee. If a Home Brief reaches you, it is because the homeowner chose to bring it.
  • We do not rank installers by who pays us.Any installer directory we publish is editorial and criteria-based; MCS registration, Heat Geek accreditation, F-Gas, Trustmark, region and specialism. The criteria are visible on the page.
  • We do not push customers toward a product.Where the honest answer for a house is "fix the fabric first" or "spend nothing yet", the platform says so. That reduces the volume of unqualified enquiries you see, which is the point.
  • We do not compete for installation revenue. We are not adding a quote flow later. The commercial model is deliberately not one that puts us on your side of the table.

The Home Brief

The artefact that arrives at your door.

A Home Brief is the record of the decision a homeowner has worked through on the platform. It captures the recommendation itself, the reasoning that produced it, the sources it draws from, and the assumptions about the house that the recommendation was made under. Where the platform has an opinion, that opinion is stated plainly and traced. Where it does not have enough information, it says so.

From your side of the conversation, that means fewer of the awkward opening minutes; the homeowner has already thought about what job they want the system to do, what the honest trade-offs look like and what a good answer for their house would even be. The quote you write starts from a real brief rather than a hunch.

Homeowners share the Brief as a URL or a printed sheet. Nothing about the pattern requires you to sign up for anything; the Brief is a document the homeowner owns and brings with them.

The recommendation

A plain-English statement of what the platform thinks the honest answer is for this house.

The reasoning

The ordered reasons that produced the recommendation, each one traceable to the evidence behind it.

The assumptions

The picture of the house the recommendation was made under; archetype, insulation, orientation, current system.

How the handoff works today

No signup required, in either direction.

Right now, the pattern is deliberately simple. A homeowner completes a decision on the platform, saves the Home Brief, and shares it with the installer of their choice. You can read it, quote against it, and (if you want to) mark up your response in the same shape. Nothing sits between the two of you.

Over time, an installer directory will grow on the site; independently curated, criteria-based, and free to be listed in. If you would like to be considered when that becomes real, the best thing to do is email; we will keep a running list.
